Sainte-Justine Centennial Gala

For this project I designed large scale video projections for two 120'x24' screens that lined the sides of the ice rink where the tables were set up for the dinner/show. The work involved designing several types of content to dress the screens during the span of the evening, including ambiance mood-scapes that evoked a winter wonderland, video segments honouring the children's hospital history and achievements, recorded interludes with children playing and dancing on the screens, and live transmission of the performances on the stage.

I was responsible for the concept design and illustrations, archive research and the coordination and production of green screen recording sessions. I also assisted the director in the concept brainstorming and pacing of the evening, as well as calling the video cues at the booth.

Live shot as people entered the room. The projection screens showed a live feed of the guests arriving on the red carpet as well as little children peaking behind the curtains to greet them.
