Its members practice all forms of communication design, including graphic design, typography, interaction design, branding, and identity.

Design for Good
Design for Good is a movement to ignite, accelerate, and amplify design-driven social change.
< >Design for Good is a resource used for connecting designers with nonprofits to Act and Advocate, students or professionals to find opportunities in the social impact realm to Learn and Grow or help Fund and Support designers with their socially impactful design projects. As of 2016, AIGA reinstates its commitment to public good, social impact, and civic engagement by threading its strategic initiatives together under a newly evolved Design for Good ethos to increase coherency between them and to demonstrate design’s problem-solving value while reinforcing AIGA’s leadership and influence. Explore Creative Talent; by browsing the gallery to discover emerging creative talent. And searching portfolios and contact students and alumni from across the creative industries. Gain Unparalleled Exposure; by building a powerful portfolio of multimedia content. Showcasing individual’s creations to fellow creatives, potential clients, recruiters, and the world. Managing their online portfolio in one place, and syncing with Behance, LinkedIn, and other sites. Build a Following; by gaining followers everywhere their work appears, on the Gallery and beyond.Easily alerts their followers when they publish new work, and following the portfolios of top creatives. Assisting & Inspiring Designers will be an extension of the AIGA Members Gallery allowing current and prospective members, as well as employers and donors, to view, fund, and share designers and their portfolios.The A.I.D. program will allow users to share their projects through their own Behance Portfolio account.Through the program, users can offer creative or professional advice, support designers to help them receive funding for an AIGA membership, sponsor participation in contests, or help pay for them to attend events. Finally, they can help designers find employment by sharing their portfolio.The Mobile Marketing Campaign will be Click to forward content: Where mobile users are given the option to forward content or advertisement to a contact, creating a viral campaign effect.To be advertised through YouTube, Pandora, Spotify, and social media with captions.

In conclusion
The A.I.D. Program will:
•Increase Awareness of AIGA

•Lead to higher membership enrollment

•& ultimately it will develop a greater rate of engagement between members
