ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE
A rather exciting project with the apparel design team at Foley Design Pvt Ltd., under the guidance of Michael Foley, this exercise included
re-designing the logo for Royal Challengers Bangalore. The idea was to take inspiration from the captain of the team Virat Kohli and his personality traits. In order to bring the bold nature of the team, the story build up led to the lion being free and ruling the circular stadium like form.
RCB is the only team from the IPL to have a separate look/kit as their home and away jersey. The livery/jersey design exercise revolved around making a strong statement on the ground. The strong colour blocking and layering using the secondary colour palette led to the outcome you see below.
