Identity design
for
the white swan award
for excellence in education, is inspired from the magnificent white swan on
which the Hindu Goddess of knowledge, Saraswati, traverses across the universe.
In Hinduism, the SWAN is a symbol of knowledge and wisdom.
It thus becomes an apt motif for an honor meant for eminent educators.
THE SWAN has been designed contemporarily. Three tiles of the kind called Corian
have been pasted with a special glue to make it look seamless with DuPont technology.
The typography is engraved by laser and further colored by hand.
