The brief: Create an identity and branding for new music TV programme ‘The Beat’ that blends British and American music.

I created a brand centred around using musical instruments as visual puns, making the message clear in a simple and elegant way. The simple colour scheme is inspired by the red, white and blue of the British and American flags, with the overlapping pink representing the blending of cultures to create something new
