Falling Up Book Website. This was an HTML/CSS project that was done in my Web Design 1 class. We had to choose a book that we enjoyed and design a website based off the style of the book that was chosen. I loved Shel Silverstein as a child, I struggled with reading but reading Shel's books came easily. I wanted to portray a website with his personal style incorporated. I wanted to create a website that had no color, thin pencil like lines and use type that appeared hand drawn. I really loved this project and it really took me back to my childhood when creating it. Above, you'll see two zoomed out screen shots of the site, and 4 pictures of each section that was included in the scrolling website.
