Brexit Passport
Dezeen.com launched an unofficial competition to redesign the document that all UK citizens carry when traveling abroad.
My design focuses on what makes the United Kingdom unique and appealing. Starting with its familiar colors, I’ve incorporated part of the flag on the cover of the passport. The colors, lines and shapes give it a striking, bold and eye catching look to the new cover. In addition, repeating the emblem in gold is from the previous passport book. On the inside pages I’ve drawn images of the main attractions from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The attractions are represented in an iconic minimalistic line style to invite travelers to explore these attractions, but also refer to them as memories of home. Throughout the inside pages, the icons are set in a pattern to express how much fun it is in the United Kingdom.
