Crossing Europe Trailer

This was by far the most fun project I've done. Remo and I locked ourselves into a studio with rusty scrap metal for a month and tried to come up with as much cool shit as possible. This is how we created the Trailer for the Crossing Europe Film Festival.

We used a variety of techniques from replacement animation, shooting in plates, projections, little rigged characters down to painfully grinding down a big block of iron ... frame by frame.

Here is a couple of lost scenes and insight into how some of the shots were done. We poisoned ourselves at one point and I had a pretty severe headache. Probably lost a good amount of brain cells. Rust is definitely not healthy! ... but beautiful and shitloads of fun!
