The Unstoppable Leader is a biography and legacy of a great Civil Rights and educational leader in North Carolina. The author, Mr. James Howerton, is one of my good friends and he came to me asking for a cover design for his book. We went through several rounds of digital compositions before we came to the final design. Mr. Howerton is also a professor and once the book was published and printed, he offered this book to one of his classes as a requirement.
The front cover image is a purchased stock photography image and the back cover shows a map which displays the area's in which Mr. Porter worked. I photographed this map and used it for the back cover. The printed book and digital e-book is now available through Amazon.
