 I was responsible for branding and marketing the organization. I created this logo with Adobe Illustrator. While it is based on the Obama design, it also incorporates the university colors. The logo was used as the profile photo for the Facebook and Twitter accounts. It includes the hashtag #WeCantWait which was originated by the Obama campaign. 
One goal was to build name recognition by creating a strong presence on campus through social media. Our plan was to have a Facebook page and Twitter account, with the numeric goal of having 50 followers on each by the end of the semester. To achieve this goal, we planned a #WeCan’tWait social media day to launch our pages. On Wednesday, November 16th, we officially went live with the pages with the goal of securing 25 followers. We surpassed this mark with 27 followers on Twitter and 42 "likes" on Facebook. 
On our social media launch day, this post which included a photo and a link to our Twitter account received the most hits. According to Insight, it reached 889 unique people, with 171 engaged users. For a reference point, the average metrics for posts (excluding this outlier) is 43 reached people, 7 engaged users, and 2.5 people talking about it.
