This project was developed in 2010, while I was working on the Advanced Design team at Whirlpool Latin America, in Joinville (Santa Catarina - Brazil).
I lead this project since the early discussions and was able to deliver not only digital assets (animation, renders, reference materials and guides) but also a physical prototype that was installed at 2011 CasaCor São Paulo and presented to the press.
Liberty was and remains till now one of the nicest cases of bringing together a view to influence the future of the company, using research inputs, market analysis, and trends prospection to develop solutions that had our consumers as the core of every idea.

The major focus of the project was to build an universal solution that could be placed in most of the Brazilian homes. We conducted researches and activities during many development phases, always trying to get inputs and feedbacks from real people with real problems.
We also put ourselves in similar conditions that people with disabilities face everyday, as an attempt to feel a little bit of their needs. That was one of the richer activities we've made during the design process, in which we could generate most of the ideas that are not obvious.
The final solution is a 3.5m wide set that serves as kitchen and laundry area, all integrated. The system is modular and every piece has it's own ability to deal with as many different kinds of users as possible, respecting individual needs.
The physical prototype was presented at 2011 CasaCor São Paulo, one of the most important architecture and home interior events in Latin America. I presented the concept and all the ideas to the press and the buzz was worth more than
R$4 million of projected spontaneous media.
