From brick and mortar institutions to open learning environments
In developing economies particularly, the problems are manifold, and often require multiple skillsets to intervene effectively. The OPEN model that the Open Design School will follow is built to allow for such cross-disciplinary collaboration in addressing society's challenges.
Both the OPEN and Open design School models are frameworks that can be scaled and adapted to existing educational institutions.
The Open Design School proposal has been incorporated into the 12th Five Year Plan and is now being implemented by the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
