Garmoond

This was a student project that I have done 3 years ago. Our task was to develop a typeface concept based on the Garmond font, inventing some new details, refreshing and making it different, step outside the box and give it a personal touch. My concept was based in Garmond name, I've brainstormed for a while, thinking how can I change it and how I will name it. And then it came to my mind, with just one small change, adding one more O letter, whole concept was changed and new symbol was added to the font. MOON was added in the name of the font and visual concept was also based on that, adding a moon-shaped symbols to the typeface resulted this, hope you like it!
