Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream. Rowing on top of the tree is very dangerous. Don’t you know how heavy you are? Who’s joking with you? Of course an elephant can swing on a tree branch.

It’s not that I don’t like my long trunk, but that 7-feet trunk really caught me off…It is easy to put an elephant into the fridge. She will love it because it is cool here.

She will be sitting in the pile of vegetables and fruits, burying her face in your favourite yoghurt. Her long trunk will be sipping on your favourite latte. She will be munching on the cheese, licking the butter.

If you opened the fridge, she will toss the meat out of the fridge and scream: ‘I am a vegetarian!’

There is this elephant who doesn’t want to be an elephant, so she ponders for a moment about things she could do. As she walks, she realise she wants to do some new things in her life.

She wants to be a lion, but she does not have mane.

She wants to be a monkey but she does not know how to climb a tree.

She wants to be a giraffe but all she has is a long trunk.

She wants to be a polar bear but all she has are round hoofs.

She wants to be a tapir but she feels black and white is a little boring.

She wants to be an anteater but she feels eating ants is disgusting.

Finally, she chooses to go home and continue being an elephant. It is the biggest decision ever made in her life.

搖啊搖，

搖到外婆橋。

但在樹頂上搖是很危險的。

難道你不知道你很重？

是誰跟你在開玩笑？

大象是可以在樹梢上盪鞦韆的。

並不是我不喜歡我長長的鼻子，

只是令我措手不及的是那七尺的鼻子...

要把一隻大象放進冰箱，很容易。

她會愛上這裡，

因為這裡很涼爽。

她會坐在蔬果堆裏，

臉埋在你最愛的酸乳裡。

長長的鼻子，

喝著你最愛的拿鐵。

她咬著起司，舔著牛油。

如果你打開冰箱，

她會把冰箱裡的肉往外丟，

並大轟一聲：『我是吃素的！』

有一隻大象，她不願只當一隻大象。

於是她思索很久，

有些什麼事情是她能力可及可做的。

她走啊走，想做點別的事，

換換口味！

她想做一隻獅子，但她沒有蓬鬆的毛髮。

她想做一隻猴子，但她不會爬樹。

她想做一隻長頸鹿，但她只有長長的鼻子。

她想做一隻北極熊，但她只有圓圓的蹄。

她想做一隻馬來貘，但他覺得只有黑白色，不好看。

她想做一隻食蟻獸，但她覺得只有吃螞蟻，很噁心。

於是她選擇走回家。她決定做一隻大象，這是她人生做過最大的決定。
