Character Design
A course in the curriculum of the National Institute Of Design
An integral part of Animation Film design would be the flawless design of the characters that appear in them. The following posts are work related to the four week long course taken at the National Institute of Design as a part of their four year long diploma course. This course in character design started off with designing a vehicle (in any era) whose limitations and features are pre-described in words by the faculty. The course then progresses based on the era of the vehicle, its inventor, his friend, Death and so on. Finally, the characters have to be put in a story, which fits into the description of the era.
