2016 Tsukumogami
A short illustrated story based on the japanese folk-tale Tsukumogami-ki ("Record of tool spirits") from the Muromachi period (300–500 B.C.).
That of the Tsukumogami is a tale about tools that have been thrown away by people and that come back as vengeful spirits. It is an ancient tale that also relates to contemporary issues of obsolescence and wastefulness.
