Switzerland has this peculiarity that the people are called several times a year to vote on bills. These texts cover a wide range of subjects, from the most futile to the most important subjects for the future of the country. The challenge for the authorities is to present these proposals in a neutral and clear way so that the Swiss can decide their future with the best possible knowledge of the subjects subjected to the polls. This is why the State Chancellery, which organizes voting for the canton of Geneva, has mandated the HEAD so that the school offers a graphical refreshment of the explanatory brochure that accompanies each voting.
Several constraints have been imposed on us, in particular the format (A5) and the typography (Arial) in order to limit the costs of production and distribution. In my proposal, I tried to spacing a maximum my layout in order to make the object less austere and more pleasant to read for the citizen.

La Suisse a cette particularité que le peuple est appelé plusieurs fois par an à voter sur des propositions de lois. Ces textes portent sur des sujets extrêmement variés qui vont du plus futile aux sujets capitaux pour l’avenir du pays. Le défi pour les autorités est de présenter ces propositions de manière neutre et claire afin que les suisses puissent décider de leur futur avec la meilleure connaissance possible des sujets soumis aux urnes. C’est pourquoi la Chancellerie d’État, qui organise les votations pour le canton de Genève, a mandaté la HEAD afin que l’école propose un rafraîchissement graphique de la brochure explicative qui accompagne chaque votation.
