I like making looping animations and videos. Below are a few of which I made with After Effects.
Cinemagraphs are photographs with moving subtle animations on a loop.
The swinging flowers were part of the set. First, we photographed the couple on the swing. Next, we shot a video of the flowers on the set swinging. The final work was created by carefully masking the photo of the couple and superimposing them onto the scene.

Above is a looping animation of a flying DeLorean from the ending of Back to the Future! The car was drawn in Photoshop. I studied the movement and special effects that characterized the flight of the Delorean and incorporated it into the animation.
Koi Fish swimming in the Pond. The elements were drawn on photoshop. The fins were isolated from the rest of the fish to be animated. The fluid body movement was animated with puppet tool in After Effects.
