The Catchlove Family Memory book was created as the second part of my independent project as an example of what types of books The Memory Library (http://www.behance.net/gallery/Independent-Project-(FMP)-The-Memory-Library/3958833) could produce.
I used my direct family (Mum, Dad, Brother & I) to form the basis of the book, each having their own section. They each wrote down their memories from childhood to present day and collected photographs and other important objects to them.
With all this information I then turned it into our very own memory book which had a preface detailing our unusual name and history behind it. For the memories that didn't have any photographs or objects I used illustration to bring the stories to life. The style of illustration took on a childlike quality to mirror that of childhood memory.
