John Sharp, a good friend and fellow artist ,who lives in England enticed me into sharing a group show of our artwork last June, 2016. We both attended what used to be the Lancaster Art School—in this North West beautiful ancient city—during the early 70’s and all that remains is the Victorian art gallery which I personally held my graduating exhibition in.
The following are the design and marketing items that will be used—starting in May 2017—to advertise our group event. Above is the finally approved word mark that will effectively be applied to all print and online advertising.
Posters, including this A2, large format version ,will be distributed throughout Lancashire in North West England, starting in May 2017, there are smaller horizontal and vertical A3 and A2 versions for venues that can’t accommodate the larger format.
A4 flyers will augment the posters in our marketing efforts and provide more detail about us and our work.
Media Releases will inform the media including papers, radio and TV about the show and the artists.
Then these media outlets will be provided with additional material about the artists in the form of more detailed CV’s.
Avatars for social media and design of a facebook and twitter feed will help us launch what we both look forward to as a successful launch of our show starting possibly in April 2017 prior to the actual show at the beginning of June.
Then there are the exhibit information panels for visitors to our show, large A2 vertical mounted to the wall outlining each artists history and work.
