Logo Design
I knew that the logo would be used in several different mediums, so I would have to create multiple variations on the logo. There wasn't much to go off of, since there hadn't even much advertising done for this project in the past. I worked with my supervisor going through several rough draft ideas before settling on a design.
I wanted the logo to stand out and grab the attention of it's intended audience: the graduates. Because of this I made the cap and gown logo first, and added the arrow across it as a reference to the program's name. It makes a big statement and easily communicates the purpose of Wear It Forward. It also uses the college's established color scheme, and therefore met brand standard requirements.
The graduation cap variation of the logo is intended for smaller designs wear the text on the initial design would be downsized to much to be visible.
The last logo design turned out to be a perfect header design, and perfect for incorporating the slogan. In developing this one I took the liberty of adding in the periods, because it added more emphasis to the words of it. Also, it drew more attention to the bullet points in the arrow portion of the logo and made for a cohesive design.

Posters & Table Tents
For this project I did a lot of different types of print advertisements. I first worked on the 11x17 poster pictured on the top left. These sandwich boards are placed all around campus, and are used to advertise campus events. I was given some text ideas to work with, and decided that this "steps" way would be the best way to view the information, since people usually only read the boards quickly as they walk by. I searched through the ASG photo archives and found this photo taken from the graduation ceremony the previous year. It wasn't big enough to use as a background for this large of a poster as I had intended, but I really loved the picture so I changed the design to have the image only partway fill the document. Finishing it off, I decided to use the catchy slogan logo at the top to catch attention! The table tents use the same basic design as the poster, but rearranged and downsized a bit so it fit the smaller space.

Handbills
These handbills were passed out to graduates at the ceremony. They were to inform students about the location of the donation bins where they could leave their gowns.

Digital Signage
All around campus are TV's displaying ads for campus activities and events. I created digital Wear It Forward ads to play across the monitors. It was a little tricky, since the layout and size of the screen is much different from the printed ads I'd done. But I came up with a solution by using a different crop of the image, and placing it on the left-hand side of the text rather than above it.
Donation Bins
I got to have a little bit more fun with this one! I used the same illustration from the cap logo, and used it to make a repeating pattern for an eye-catching background.

Small B&W Ad
This was a small two inch ad made for the following years Student Handbook, letting graduating students know about the program. Although it is much different and plainer than the others, it keeps within the same line as the established branding. It used the same collegiate-lettering as the logo and one of the other variations.
Tent Banner
At the graduation ceremony, there was to be a 10x10 tent that the donation bins would be at. I was asked to design a banner to hang on the tent so that students could easily spot it. Once again, even though it is a greatly different platform, I tried to keep it consistent with all of the other pieces.
