Mixtape is a bimonthly travel and nostalgia magazine that is geared towards those who are passionate about the past, and who wish to travel to places that take them back to forgotten periods in time.

Its mission statement is:

“At mixtape, we’re on a mission to hunt down glimpses of the past. We strive to leave behind the cookie cutter world of today to journey down nostalgic back roads. Like a homemade mixtape, we celebrate unique destinations that are full of spirit.”

The literary articles are written from a nostalgic point of view and include historical information as well as stories of local people who have a love for the past and are working to preserve it.The final magazine included hand written cassette labels, icons for articles and a playlist to go along with feature articles.
