The Stadium Clock never made it in to production as far as I am aware. it was one of the last projects I did before I left Mayhem UK Ltd. The concept was based on the success of the Rev Clock with automotive fans. This time the target market was sports fans, but to make sure the product could appeal to more than one sport, the stadium and the scoreboard were used as the prominent features. The alarm was a cheering crowd.
The only images I have are those used to submit the design registration in 2008.
The IC chip could then be programmed with the screen graphics and the sounds for multiple sports, and the particular sport could be selected permanently at production, or the product could changed by the user after purchase.
The scoreboard was a backlit graphical LCD display, and several sporting animations were created, including a football sequence with a player controlling the ball and shooting it in to the top corner of the net. I hope to find the animation file I created for this, but for the moment this is all I have left of this project - a hard life lesson learned.
