This is a project I have had in mind for a while now. It started as a side project idea, and then I was able to incorporate it to one of my university projects where I had to explain graphic design terms in an original way.

I like the idea of having a set of printed flashcards on my desk, which I can review from time to time, or just look at to get inspired. I want to include different categories like Graphic Designers, Art Movements and some others that I will think of as I go!

This is still a work in progress that I want to take to the next level: animation! While I like the idea of the physical cards, I understand the growing importance of video and animation, so I would love to apply my filmmaking and motion graphics skills to this.

The hardest part of this project is to come up with simple, short yet good explanations of the different terms, so anyone can understand it. Writing those descriptions without literally copying from some other website is pretty hard too! And finally, thinking about other categories, it is hard to explain art movements or graphic designers without using copyrighted images! Any ideas on how to solve these little problems?
