I love iPhone retro apps so when I was asked to design a music app interface during "iPhone and iPad application" class I had no doubt. I had this image in my mind of a couple having a romantic dinner, listening music on vinyl records using the iPhone as a gramophone. I wanted my graphic interface to be vintage but at the same time modern so I used simple shapes with neutral colors and subtle textures. The app has some intentional limitations (you can create playlists with no more than 12 songs) to match somehow an old record's capabilities.
