This is my personal project (in Fundamental Basic Workshop - D101) about creating a Key Visual for Drug (Stimulant) brand that introduces a feeling of user after they use a stimulant. Visual requirements of this KV is when the target audience look at, they can feel the impact of emotions(excitement, sadness, fun, awareness, anxiety, high, slow-mo, alternate reality...)
Challenge:
+ Use basic Typography (2 font size, 1 font style).
+ Use geometric shapes or dot/line, the maximum is 2 colors white and other colors.
+ Create 3D environment by using paper and graphic element.

Ideas:
The overall ideas of the Key Visual are when you use Pills your mind will explore into a different Solar, you will be turned into alternate reality mode, feel like on the Mar and at the 4th level, you will feel like you reach to the hell gate. Unconsciously [finally]
Workflow:
First I define an opposition keywords that demonstrate for stimulant feeling. Then, I use 3 x 3 grid to build a basic visual (using line and dot) that grid creates a good focus point.

Next, I gather all visual into a grid then add in element to create focal points / Z-pattern for eyes tracking. Why grid? Because with gird I can freely arrange and adapt visual from vertical to horizontal.
Based on Key Visual, I can easy adapt to different poster version that using key elements and treatments from the main one.
After I finished a set of KV, I explore to build a 3D version based on paper crafting to build a 3D shape and perspective grid to create space environment. Gradient circle in the visual create a sense of leveling / layering / distance.
