THE PHILOSOPHY OF EXISTENTIALISM
The brief asked us to produce a series of books which had to reflect in their look and feel the period in which they texts written. We were asked to give a sophisticated and stylish look that is abstract and eye-catching.
The book covers I had to design were written in the 60s by two of the most influential philosophers at that time, Michel Foucault and Jean Paul Sartre. For Jean Paul Sarte’s Book cover I focused on the notions of choice, freedom and self awareness. Circle depicts individuality, while red shows rebellion of personal choice, the
whole composition represents the freedom the scattering of freedom to experience, to
live, to get to know life and self.
