Acer presented their new gaming computer: the Predator; during the Next@Acer event at the World Trade Center in NYC.
We displayed the Predator above a pool of ferrofluid, a liquid thatmetamorphoses when affected by a magnet, and under the pool you
found 43 powerful rare earth magnets attached to servomotors that moved vertically, creating different patterns on the ferrofluid surface.
A sign reading “Ask and the Predator will answer” invited guests to speak into a microphone in front of the Predator display,
turning the vocalizations into magnetic charges which brought the ferrofluid to life beneath the display.
