A selection from a series of watercolor illustrations. Experimenting with the transparency of the medium inspired the story of a girl who fades in and out, much like the moon, and of the waning traces left in the hearts of those without her. The full series included 9 pieces, corresponding in size and pigmentation to the phases of the moon. Though I chose not to include every piece, I may revisit the concept in the future.
