Rules of Classical Art

The work itself is to be guided by a set of self-imposed rules. These rules are based on common conventions seen in many traditional and classical works of art.

Rules:
1) primary focus should be at the Golden Sector
- - - most detailed area should be the Golden Sector
2) non-primary subjects should not be rendered to the same degree
- - - main subject should be rendered to a higher degree of skill
3) keep the center empty to prevent the eye from fixating there
4) work should not go to the very edge of the frame
