The Microscopic Observations of Anton Van Leeuwehoek
You've Probably Never Heard Of Him
And that's why I did this. Anton Van Leeuwenhoek was the first person to make lenses strong enough to see things microscopically, in fact he made around 500 optical lenses and over 25 microscopnoes. He kept his method of making lenses secret for many years and no-one could replicate his lenses until a very long time after his death, as selfish as this seems he did however make a few discoveries such as bacteria and sperm (lets hope it was his own) and start the ball rolling for microbiology, which without we would be a lknowleot less knowledgeable about the workings of all organisms including those in pathogens and ourselves.

I started this project with a series of deliberately rough pencil drawings and then scanned them into illustrator and photoshop.
Thank-you for your time.
