i started off with the words sexy, rebellion, british and beautiful. naked ladies with clown faces, bobbys, rioters, top hats, squeeze boxes, strong faces and accessories. all on one big piece of card in blank ink. i then photographed sections before i began to use paint and ink to make it colourful.
i came up with the tag line 'colour you in' and decided to use a sketchy, handwritten font. i'm a sucker for handwritten fonts.
rather than doing colour manually, i decided to use photoshop to colour in the lips, eyes and nails. don't look too great.
i then did the skin, nails and lips instead, from a different angle. a much more flattering angle!
i finally settled with this one, but with more time and effort it could have been a bit more tidy and maybe a little more appropriate! however i like how its dirty sexy arty why not?
this is a more simplistic one i did, to highlight the appealing, beautiful and flirty side of make up but to also keep the artistic theme. without mac she'd just be black and white... you know we don't like them black and white girls.
