In 2016, I was asked by the estate of J Dilla, to design an official J Dilla portable turntable - an essential item for any vinyl crate digger.
The design on the player was inspired by a line in Dilla's The Diary album - "Bring yo weed, I got a story to tell", then the design of the box was made up of 28 lighter illustrations, each one inspired by a record Dilla has done production work on.
Also included in the record box was a 7 inch recording of J Dilla's "The Sickness" featuring Nas. I did the artwork for this too.
