During the short one week workshop with Chris Lefteri, the pair consisting of Teng Jia Min and myself
were tasked to transform a simple sheet of paper into a light using Bare Conductive ink, batteries and a LED.

Inspired by the phrase, “sparks in the air”, the product is a gift card in the shape of a rose, (or flower of your choice in the DIY pack variation)
which will light up. The LED light will be lit when the rose is given to a loved one and the couple holds hands.
This forms a closed circuit and thus allowing electricity to pass through the couple, lighting the LED.

This small gift is an alternative to cards and targeted for couples, given on special occasions like Valentines Day.
Making process.
