EKKO - Handmade Notebooks

‘EKKO’ is a name derived from a famous painting of SH Raza, meaning ‘I am one – in sync with one’s self.’ The confident strokes of his paintings signify depth through gradation of colors and recurring shapes. Similarly on this note, the idea of recurring shapes and flamboyant color range inspired us to practice exciting tie-dye batik techniques on paper combined with vivid laser cuttings.
Sometimes all you need is a little splash of color. EKKO’s handmade notebooks come in hard bound to soft bound and vary between sizes, a small size in A5 and a bigger size in A4. This project was a collaboration with The Postbox, Chennai.
