This project started a while back, it was autumn and I was walking outside looking at the falling leaves. I picked up some leaves and remembered a story my mother told me a million times, how she used to pick up leaves and dry them in old books, she loved the way the colors looked after the leaves dried.

I started to think about more ways to use the leaves after they have dried and thought of making a couple of letters out of them, I did and after a while some websites picked it up and there was a comment from some one that wondered how a whole alphabet would look like. I really liked doing the cutting and making the first couple of letters and with the sudden increase of interest in my work I started making the whole alphabet.
