This is a student project, which is aimed at finding a new way to use reindeer leather in product design area. In north Finland, reindeer leather is often used to make products. But most of these products are too traditional to extend to new customers.
This book shelf is designed to break the boundary of traditional usage of reindeer leather. Currently treatment of reindeer leather is very advanced. Due to this reason reindeer leather can be used as "new material" in many other area.
