This project aims to reflect on the question “what really matters?” to people.
The memories reflected in time and place are proof of our existence, of our culture, of what we are. They are an indispensable part of our lives. Personal notes, photographs and other objects help us remember our history, our past and building our future.
The Human Being designs, creates and builds new realities for himself and others, including future generations, based on the meaning they have on themselves and the world. And this double meaning - the past and the future - of the relationship that each one has with the question “what really matters?” led us to investigate what a group of people would keep for the future and to develop a graphic object where we immortalize what really matters to these people. Opening Ad Aeternum twenty years from now, how would these people feel about what really matters the most? Will they find that those things are what truly matters?
