As a personal project I designed a handlettering-calendar for 2017. Each lettering is linked to a historic event matching the month of the event.
Some letterings are dedicated to impressive personalities (Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela), others are about groundbreaking discoveries (airplane, light bulb, …) or I just used inspiring quotes (Einstein). The calendar intents to make the reader aware about the simple things in life that are nowadays taken for granted, but were groundbreaking back then.
