The calendar was created for the ALROSA company, the world leader in the diamond mining. 

The task was to combine the magical appeal of a natural mineral with technological advancements. The metaphorical story about the company should stimulate imagination and attract the attention of  viewers.

The selected romantic poetry lines were illustrated with artistic compositions in a multi-layered geometric collage technique. Each passage in interpretation of the designer turned into a unique art object inspired
by neo-constructivism.

The calendar cover pattern is based on the ingenuine arts of the native Peoples of the North, where the company is located. Pattern elements are made of 3D volumetric varnish. Also, some elements on the pages of the calendar were made by selective UV varnish.
