Blinked is an art studio based in New Zealand. They create artworks and illusions using old animation techniques and moire styled illustrations. The name was inspired by the techniques the studio uses to create the illusion of movement. Slit animation involves cutting out frames of images and superimposing them to create animations. Blinking, although temporarily blinding us, goes unnoticed still allowing us to perceive motion.
