+ ANXIETY +
for a school project, we had to pick an abstract concept and give it three-dimensional form via a 25cmx25cm cube. i chose social anxiety as my concept, as it is one of the anxiety disorders i live with.

i illustrated my personal interpretation of the disorder via eyes and mouths, as they are two of the biggest elements of a person's body language. they are grotesque and surrealistic in a depiction of how we irrationally perceive the people around us — sneering, laughing, and judging us.

the final piece is a two-way street; it displays the discomfort people with said anxiety deal with, while simultaneously creating it in others.
all the cube's faces are different, here are some of them.
