The couple didn't want a very traditional, luxurious wedding ceremony; instead, a lighter, more casual theme. After months of research, we got to a nice and light concept by combining backyard style wedding, old fairs and shops - handmade, homemade, 'do it yourself' feeling.
To achieve the handmade, oldschool style we wanted, sketching was essential. On top of that we needed a bit of charisma, so we included Bolinha, the couple's french bulldog, as the star of the show.
The idea behind the Save the Date piece was to offer the tickets to the wedding.
The initial idea for the invitation piece was a page marker (thus the thin, long shape), however, as more and more information had to fit in, it grew into a full letter, to be delivered in a nice envelope:
Within the brochure, we put all the extra information about the ceremony: songs, food and drinks, parents, bridesmaid and groomsmen stories. And to end it all, a special gift for the guests:
