Public Arts project as part of redevelopment of Royal Darwin Hospital's Paediatrics Ward
As part of the redevelopment of Royal Darwin Hospital, MDP were subcontracted by Larrakia Nation to produce the final artwork to be installed throughout the paediatrics ward. MDP were subcontracted due to their extensive experience with culturally sensitive artwork and projects.
MDP was required to compile photographs of Larrakia country and Aboriginal artwork painted by local artists to create panoramas to be used on the nurses stations, reception desk and ward signage.
It was a very expansive project which scaled over many months from the start to finish of stage 1 of the redevelopment.
