The Driftwood — where creativity is compiled
A collection of work created within PLNU’s community, The Driftwood is an annually student-produced publication. The creative arts journal receives writing, poetry, photography, and music submissions for publication and consideration for award. What is between the covers and severed title, the stack of pages that make up the Driftwood, is an authentic expression of our students, alumni, and faculty. Much like a piece of driftwood bobbing in the water, we only catch a glimpse on the surface. As the layout editor, I used this analogy to establish the look. I wanted to present the depth and truths of the pieces with esteemed sophistication without distraction. It caters to the audience of the university, while establishing excellence and refinement.
