Attend to the Moon (William Blake Reimagined)

A visual poem directly and indirectly referencing the work of William Blake, where each scene refers to one of his works, a modern re-interpretation executed in the form of a series of abstract visuals.

Above is the director's cut, removing many of the scenes that I was unhappy with (for a variety of reasons, for example avoidable glitches/mistakes, but also conceptually). I include the full version below - although I am not as happy with it, but from it I learned a great deal - as it may be of interest and provides context, and hopefully others can pick out and learn from my mistakes as well.

This was part of a University project, with the intention of improving my confidence and competence in Cinema 4D and with digital workflows. Most of the work was completed in C4D, which I have been learning for about 6 months, with compositing and post production in After Effects and some aspects rendered in Keyshot, this project itself taking just under a month. The music was also made by me, using Logic. Ultimately this was a learning experience which I was lucky to have something to show for at the end, although there are many things I would want to improve in the future, which I would now be capable of.

Here is breakdown showing how each shot (of the long cut) relates to the relative source image from William Blake, which I hope is of interest.
I tried to keep it as authentic to Blake's visions as possible, so this also included the title. It does not directly reference any of his work, but was made by me in an attempt to expand on what he achieved. I have also made, below, an image in the style of his front piece illuminations, which I hope works to the same effect as many of his own.
Thanks for looking!
