The story
Going for breakfast or dinner on the 73а Lomonosov St. in Kyiv, you have a desire to wear a suit and get out of the closet the most beautiful dress (of course, you visit Brahms!). The European cuisine restaurant appeared on the Kyiv food map in December 2016. Our studio developed its design concept from the corporate identity to the specific character of the space. So we know how it is to be a restaurant named after a famous composer.

The massive construction added a wabi-sabi mood to the interior. "It looks as they have been here for a long" – complimented a visitor. Over time beauty of wood will fascinate more and more. It is the interior element, the flow of time suits to. Ceramic lamps "The Earth" belong to the unique collection designed by Sergey Makhno. Finding two similar among them means wasted time. Each handmade objects has а special pattern.
The Japanese laconicism continues at the lower floor. It’s the space of cooler color temperature where neutral concrete blends with bamboo walls and black lights. We are not fans of the British anthology series, but have a black mirror. A play area for children is hidden behind.
There are two core zones. At your disposal a table on the first floor or in a secluded area on the lower level. The first floor is opened and filled with light. The owners shared our passion for laconic Japanese interiors, and we materialized it in natural motifs, calm tones and functional space planning.
The real heavyweights are the tables made of solid oak. To complement them we chose the squat sofas with a pleasing linen upholstery of the dark chocolate color. Our main goal was to achieve a genuine feeling, a traditional feature of the Japanese interior. All the elements had to take root and form a holistic microcosm. The full of details interior saves external cleanliness and lightness.
