Watermind is a self-portrait project. It approaches the mind as a private space, in which no one has the ability to insert and understand it's content except myself. Visually representing the conscious and subconscious during a phase of my life, Watermind illustrates my mind's expressions through the frenetic confusion of it's fragments - of the "conversation" I have with myself every day, hour, minute, second and that solely will be silenced by death.

In this space without connection to the real, of an abstract, diffuse and confused ambience, where an imperceptibility fase reigns. In a space that connects the mind with an illusory presence of water. The only space that allows me to be completely isolated and, thereafter, what is inside my mind makes itself hear even louder, even stronger. In Watermind I metaphorically illustrate my mind's interior as if it was the ocean itself, giving it limits of infinity.

Watermind transmits the things that I don't see, that I can't touch but that, however, are always here, with me - even if I don't want them.
