This hand bound book was my final for a Book Arts course I took in college in 2015. Throughout are ink wash paintings with pop-up/interactive elements. The illustrations are based off of photographs of sporting in the late 1800s. Illustration, book design, marbled paper, and bookmaking was done by me.

Lightning pierces through the clouds when the tab is pulled on the unsuspecting waders.
The remaining illustrations are placed throughout the book for moments of calm.
