For this assignment we are to design a series of items for a company/ product or service either existing or new and produce the them to visually be branded for it’s particular purpose. For my campaign I’ve decided on creating an event, which will be a Cult Film Festival.

With this campaign I’m wanting to create a certain vibe that I am hoping people will feel through the advertising and items that will be produced for the event. Initially the vibe that I am trying to portray through these pieces is a science fiction/ futuristic feel with a graphic novel look to the illustrations and all around look for the final pieces, but I also want it to have a 1950’s theme to it, the ticket stubs. popcorn boxes etc.
So for this I’ve decided to go with 1950’s science fiction.

I wanted to do this event because I’ve always loved this sort of thing and would of loved to have gone to one if it was ever on. I think the one thing that I would have loved to see is the sort of thing that you get at I don’t know Comic Con or Armageddon, the people really getting into what’s going on around them and just having fun dressing up as your favourite character or being around people who have the same love for something that you yourself have.
